Building Community, One Step at a Time: Cole's Crusader Run Club Meets at RiverHeath

At RiverHeath, we are home to community. We value neighbors becoming friends, families spending time together, and people coming together around shared experiences. This month, we are proud to feature Crusader Run Club.

Crusader Run Club is an extension of the mission behind Cole's Crusade, an organization dedicated to supporting Wisconsin children and families facing critical illnesses. Through community involvement, fundraising, and service, Cole's Crusade helps local families, supports pediatric illness research, and partners with nonprofits to make a meaningful difference across Wisconsin.

Every other Sunday morning, runners and walkers of all ages gather in front of Broken Tree Pizza in our RiverHeath Community before heading out on beautiful surrounding nature trails. Some are training for a race while others are getting back into fitness. Many simply come for the conversation, encouragement, and chance to start their day surrounded by great people. No matter your pace or experience, everyone is welcome.

It's also a perfect reflection of what makes RiverHeath special. Our walkable neighborhood, scenic riverfront trails, and welcoming atmosphere create the ideal setting for people to connect in meaningful ways. Initiatives like Crusader Run Club transform our community spaces into places where friendships are built, healthy habits are encouraged, and everyone feels like they belong.
